Pura Vida.....opening ceremonies

We just got done with the opening ceremony, which featured Costa Rican dance and cultural presentations. Local school kids have been studying all of the contries which are competing in the event, and they arrived with flags that they made in class.

The afternoon ended with greetings from Toca, Neil, Rick Starr, and local officials.

Competition starts at 7am tommorrow, I will try to post heats tonite if I can get them.
